BRIEF PERSONAL STATEMENT OF CONTACT PERSON
Emmanuel Muluh holds a diploma in Economics, an LL.B and a Masters I in Business Law from the University of Yaounde II Soa. With a mastery of both English Common Law and the French Civil Law during I am able to navigate the bijural system of Cameroon wherein the Common law and Civil Law are being practiced in the English and French Regions respectively.
With a broad knowledge on the OHADA UNIFORM ACTS which is the legal tool regulating business law within its 17 member states, I have assisted investors (local and international) in the following areas; company registration (pre and post incorporation formalities), regulatory compliance, legal due diligence and background checks, debt recovery and restitution of properties, mergers and acquisition, drafting and negotiation of contracts, procurement of permits/authorizations before the competent authorities.
I have assisted a handful of clients with immigration issues (procurement of LOI’s, visa, work permits, resident permits), protection of intellectual property rights before the African Intellectual property Organization (OAPI), labour disputes, criminal and civil litigations, general consultancy, general commercial law.
I was selected the firm to contribute in the World Bank Group survey on Benchmarking Public-Private Partnerships in Cameroon for the year 2016 and 2017.
With over 5 years in the legal profession, I have learned to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines. I am eager to learn, highly collaborative with colleagues, pay keen attention to details and possess a good working ethic.
